Understanding of Word Mental

"Mental" Meaning:
1. Connected with or happening in the mind; involving the process of thinking.

Example:
It's fascinating to watch a child's mental development.

2. Connected with the illness of the mind.
Example:
a mental disorder/illness

Let understand the meaning of the "Mind" now.

1. "The part of your brain that thinks and remembers; your thoughts, feelings, and intelligence."

Example:
He has a brilliant mind

2. To feel annoyed, ups, et or uncomfortable about something/somebody.

Example:
I'm sure Sravan won't mind if you don't invite him.

General conversation with mother and child, sometimes mother says

"are you mental"? 

Conversation with friends, when one of his friends do things crazy, his friend tells

"Why are you behaving like a mental?"

The general perception of the word "mental" is inferior did you observed?

Partially statements are right, but if you want to hurt someone the "mental" is used, but the actual meaning is more profound it talks about understanding the mind and talks about illness and health.

Let me talk about my coaching, I use the word mental health in my coaching when I had a conversation with other coaches they feel inferior to use the word mental health, they are happy to use the word "Mindset coach".

What is the job of a coach?
Make the person understand his mind, if there is any illness he has it has to be addressed by certain practices. If he has a good mind why he needs to have coached for mindset, he needs to focus on some other areas right?

Interpretation and perception of the word "Mental" have to be changed "Mental" means to take care of your mind and address your illness, the word should not be used as an inferior notion.
