How to find the Inner peace?
How to find the inner peace? The very critical question, did anyone asked to yourself? How to find the inner peace? This a small attempt from my side to attain inner peace!
I was reading Jidhu Krishna Murthy's books and Osho's books
As I start reading the books I came across a few words Desire, Comparison, Search, Identity, Awareness and Die to the past. These important words have a significant impact on inner peace, but how? This is what I understood and tried to explain to you all.
Now we talk about No Desire, what if we don't have the desire, how do our lives change, we don't have to wear white robes to talk about this but it is important to stay without having negative desires at least, I am desired for a car then I will be in a position to start working for the money because I desire for the car, now we have a question, having a desire for the car is wrong?
Not absolutely, we can desire for our food, shelter, clothes and basic need for our life. Too much desire creates an imbalance in our life.
We are humans, we are living in a society where we need to satisfy our basic carvings of humans, we have family we need to care for our families, and then desire is right? There is a difference between satisfying the needs of our life and the desire for unrealistic goals of our life. You need to understand the difference.
Too much desire creates pain in our life we start losing our inner peace, wife is looking for a gold chain worn by her friend she has a desire for that one fine day she can buy the chain, and that desire is acceptable she can manage to buy without harming her inner peace.
But a man is talking to a woman who bought a 3 crore property but this man wanted to buy a similar flat that she purchased, the moment he compares to that lady and starts desire for buying the flat, he is struggling beyond his ability and capabilities, he loses the inner peace, he starts searching for the money, in different ways, but he may achieve to buy the 3 crore property, with more pain, with more struggle he purchases the property. Can you see the difference in the desire we have for our life?
These are some examples we come across in our daily life, desire for unrealistic goals, sometimes we achieve and sometimes we fail, but at the bottom of our life, we miss our inner peace. Did you notice?
I come across many people, in our life, and other happiness, creates a comparison, why I am not deserved of getting that happiness?
Such comparison, the desire for unrealistic goals creates an impact on our inner peace.
Another two important factors that I would like to discuss are our Identity and Searching for.
Sathya is a very good person, but Sathya is a very kind person this kind of identity I have created for myself that creates impacts my inner peace, next time if another person says I am a bad person and another person says, he is more jealous, I created an identity like this and that when I hear from others the other way, my identity impacts my inner peace.
When the person is searching for unrealistic goals he becomes mentally tired and his mind is not free, he keeps on searching and becomes worried, tensed, frustrated, and also angry at some times, and sure he will be losing inner peace.
Fine till now we talked about Desire, Identity, searching for and comparison impact the inner peace, and how to create inner peace. how do we balance our minds so that we find inner peace? We can talk something about that.
Die to past, to develop present moment awareness we need to come out from the past, you have a question why do I need to come out from the past? Desire, Comparison, and Identity are rooted in past, as we free our minds as we die to the past there is the possibility of cessation of the past but it doesn't mean that you will forget your past, any time you can access your past from the subconscious mind that is how the mind works. When you say die to that past means your mind is free from the temporary problems of life.
How to do that? How to develop present-moment awareness?
JK and Osho generally talk about Meditation.
Another technique is,
1. journaling your feelings and emotions,
2. Expressing gratitude for what you have in your life,
3. Journaling your day.
Writing is a powerful way of developing present-moment awareness and dying to the past and also journaling is powerful to build inner peace.
Spending every day for journaling or meditation makes you get free from the negative impression of your life and makes you feel inner peace.
Let me express gratitude to JK and Osho for their wonderful teachings, until we understand and practice we don't know the value which I am talking about.
I need express Gratitude to my Psychiatrist Dr, Rudhran for His medical Guidance on understanding journaling techniques and based on his guidance I used journaling which has a very good positive impact to attain Inner peace.
