Inner Evolution
Who Is God? – My Journey to Understanding the Divine
From a young age, I was surrounded by culture, symbols, rituals, gods, and goddesses. Like everyone else, I accepted what I saw — but deep inside, a question began to grow.
Who is God?
Are there many gods?
Are they different beings?
Do they exist in different dimensions?
Do they serve different purposes?
This question struck me deeply around the age of 20. It didn’t leave me. Instead, it pulled me inward.
I began exploring — rituals, practices, beliefs. Some of these experiences deeply affected my state of mind. At times, they even disturbed my mental balance. But today, I see that phase as one of the greatest lessons of my life.
Because it taught me something very important:
Understanding the divine is not easy — but it is also not far away.
In fact, it is closer than anything else in your life. Closer than relationships. Closer than identity. Closer even than what we call “self.”
This understanding did not come overnight. It took me nearly three decades of seeking, questioning, and reflecting.
I am not a saint.
I have not attained bliss permanently.
But I can say this with honesty:
I have understood something about the essence of the divine.
To me, the divine is not separate.
It is not limited to forms or names.
It is an evolving realization.
And most importantly — it revealed itself to me as the Divine Mother.
A presence that nurtures, cares, and exists in everything — not just in living beings, but also in what we consider non-living.
She is not outside.
She is not distant.
She is everything.
What I have learned is simple, yet profound:
You don’t need to renounce life.
You don’t need to wear robes.
You don’t need to escape the world.
All you need is:
Love. Devotion. And a sincere desire to understand who you truly are.
Because when you begin that journey, something remarkable happens—
Guidance comes.
And slowly, gently, you begin to realize:
You were never separate from the divine.
Final Reflection
If there is one thing I would say to anyone reading this, it is this:
Take a moment in your life to ask yourself —
“Who am I?”
Not intellectually, but sincerely.
That question itself is the beginning of the journey.
And perhaps, just like me,
you may one day realize—
The divine you are seeking has always been within you.
